Canyon is a small sewing and design shop located in the Montezuma Valley near Dolores, Colorado. Canyon specializes in gear designed and used for outdoor pursuits.
Jackie and Andrew have been outdoors people their entire lives. Passion for travel in the back country runs deep. The mode is not so important. They have been sewing professionally for almost 13 years and have sewn personally for over 20. Much of the outdoor shenanigans involve the need to carry things, food, gear, shelter etc. It was this necessity the led to the development of much of the products and equipment they have designed and sewn over the years.
The Southwest has been their home for over 30 years. Passion for the land, history and people of the area bring motivation to do good work, make solid products and treat people with respect and dignity in personal life as well as in business. They like to say, “do what you say and say what you do.”
